When should we RSVP by? Can I change it later? +
We need final confirmations by July 31. If you are thinking of coming, even if you are not completely sure yet, please let us know now through the RSVP page. You can answer “maybe” and update your RSVP later.
Can I RSVP for my partner, family, or group? +
Yes. Type your name into the RSVP form and it should show your partner or family. If someone is not listed, you can add more guests or family members from your RSVP page.
Can I bring a plus-one? +
Yes. Please add your plus-one in the RSVP form so we can include them in the planning.
Are children invited? +
Yes. We will have several guests with children. If your child needs a seat or a high chair at the reception, please add them to your RSVP.
Logistics
Wedding Day Logistics
What time should guests arrive for the ceremony? +
Please be at the church by 10:45 a.m.
Where should guests park for the ceremony? +
Please park at Parcheggio Via Molinetto, Via Molinetto, 36034 Malo VI. From there, walk about 500 meters to the Sanctuary of Santa Maria Liberatrice, taking the metal bridge from the parking lot. Please do not drive up to the church, as there are only a few parking spots there.
Will there be transportation between the ceremony and reception? +
Yes. We will organize a shuttle from the church to the reception venue and back. Please sign up for it through the RSVP page.
Is there parking at the reception venue? +
Yes. The reception venue has a dedicated guest parking lot inside the villa grounds. You will see it on the right about 100 meters before reaching Villa Godi Malinverni, Via Andrea Palladio 44, 36030 Lugo di Vicenza VI. Please do not leave your car in front of the villa’s main entrance.
Will taxis or ride services be available late at night? +
We will organize transportation from the reception venue back to Malo, Schio, and Thiene at 8 p.m., 10 p.m., and midnight. Unfortunately, there are no other taxis or ride services that can be called on demand late at night.
Is the wedding indoors, outdoors, or both? +
The reception will be outdoors in the villa garden. Food will be served in a covered space under the villa porticos, in the restored stables.
What happens in case of rain? +
Rain is unlikely, but if it happens, we will use the indoor spaces of the villa. The party will continue.
Travel
Travel to Italy
What airport should I fly into? +
The closest international airports are Venice and Verona. You can also fly into Milan or Rome and take a high-speed train to Vicenza. Driving would take about 3 hours from Milan or 5 hours from Rome. See Getting Here for more details.
Should I rent a car? +
Renting a car can be useful during the wedding days because taxis are not available on demand in smaller towns like Malo, Schio, and Thiene. You can also reach Vicenza, or even Schio, by train and take a taxi to Malo. Once you are in Malo, you will not need a car.
For traveling in Italy before or after the wedding, we recommend the high-speed train network. Major cities are well connected, trains are often faster than driving, and you do not need to worry about city parking. See Getting Here for more information on trains and rental cars.

Can I get to Malo or Vicenza by train? +
You can reach Vicenza by high-speed train from any major city. From Vicenza, you can take a taxi to the smaller towns, or take a local train to Schio or Thiene.
How do I call a taxi in Vicenza? +
In Vicenza, you can usually find taxis right outside the train station. You can also use appTaxi or call +39 0444 920600.
Does Uber work in the area? +
In Italy, Uber cannot offer regular UberX ride-share service. The app may offer a licensed cab through UberTaxi or a private driver through UberBlack.
I need to apply for a Schengen visa. Can you provide a formal invitation? +
Absolutely. Contact us by email or WhatsApp; we already have the invitation PDF ready.
Will people speak English? +
Hotel staff almost certainly will. Elsewhere, people may speak English, but keep Google Translate handy just in case.
Should I carry cash? +
Do not worry about exchanging much cash. Places in Italy generally accept cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Do I need a European power adapter? +
Yes. Bring a universal adapter or Italy-compatible 2-prong and 3-prong adapters.
What emergency number should I call in Italy? +
Call 112 for any serious emergency. It is the EU-wide emergency number and works for police, ambulance, and firefighters. You can also call 118 for medical emergencies, 115 for fire, and 113 for police.
What should I know about driving in Italy? +
Driving around Malo and Vicenza is generally much easier than driving in big cities with older, narrower, or restricted streets. Most historic center areas cannot be accessed by car unless you are a resident. Speed limits are in km/h, speed cameras are common, highways have tolls, and there is no right turn on red.
Do I need an International Driving Permit? +
If you plan to drive in Italy, bring your regular driver’s license plus an International Driving Permit (IDP). The IDP is not a separate license; it is a translation/permit that must be carried with your normal license. Some rental agencies may not ask for it, but if police stop you or there is an accident, not having it can become a problem.
Stays
Accommodation
Where should we stay: Malo, Schio, Vicenza, or somewhere else? +
We recommend staying in Schio, where the bride’s family will stay and which is reachable by train; in Malo, where the ceremony will take place; or in nearby towns like Thiene, Marostica, or Bassano. See Where to Stay for more details.
Where will the bride and groom stay? +
We will be staying in Schio, while Diego’s family will be in Malo.
How can guests reach the ceremony from their hotel? +
If you are staying in Malo, you can reach the church on foot or organize with Diego. If you are staying in Schio, you can join the bride’s group for the ride to the church. If you are staying in another town, you will need to drive or arrange your own transportation.
Attire
Dress Code & Weather
What is the dress code? +
Cocktail attire. A specific color palette is not required, but if you are undecided, feel free to take inspiration from the earthy pastel tones we chose for the flower decorations.
Early September in Veneto is still warm, with summer-like afternoons and milder evenings. Dress comfortably for a long celebration, choose breathable fabrics and comfortable shoes, and consider bringing a light layer for the evening.

What is the program after dinner? +
After the food, the evening will continue with the cake cutting and more music.
